The first 20 registrants will receive a bag of supplies from the library. Information on how to retrieve your supply bag will be sent in the confirmation email. Limit one bag per registrant. 

You may still attend the live meeting if you do not register! You can email Margaret to find out if there are still supply bags available and how to collect them. If we run out of bags, the supplies will be listed below so that you can find them on your own. 

If you can't attend live, you can still register to reserve your supply bag! A video with instructions for the activity will be available on our YouTube channel on Thursday at 10am.

Virtual Program: Young Naturalists

Join volunteers from the CNY chapter of the Izaak Walton League every Tuesday at 4:15 PM for a guided nature activity geared to kids ages 7-12!


Each week, volunteers will lead a lesson on an interesting nature topic, and give you some activities to try outside during the week related to the topic, and a prompt for your nature journal. Then, at the following meeting, we'll discuss what we found and did in nature and recorded in our journals!

ALL are welcome to this free program! You do not have to be a Fayetteville Library patron to attend!

Virtual Well Read Wednesday Book Club: Dear Child

This program is intended for kids in grades 2-5, but other ages are welcome if interested.


This week we will celebrate Women's History Month by learning about astronaut Mae Jemison and making our own "rocket" launcher.
Supplies:
  • Paper
  • Rubberbands
  • Pen or pencil
  • Paper clips
  • Tape or stapler
  • Construction materials to build a launcher (could include cardboard, LEGOs, Knex, etc.)
  • Open area to launch paper airplane "rockets"
